Make Your Christmas Plans

Christmas is a wonderful season in Brenham. Forget those old stand-by boxed sweaters or handpainted ties. Give an experience for Christmas. Why not bring your mother, wife, husband, or sweetheart to a Unity Theatre (A Child's Christmas in Wales) or to Festival Hill (Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite) Christmas production. Combine it with a two night stay at Wrigley House and dinner at one of Brenham's fine restaurants.

On December 5-6 experience the Brenham's Hometown Holiday Christmas Stroll of the downtown area; that evening is the beautiful Parade of Lights with brilliantly decorated floats. This is small-town Texas at it's best.

On December 12, you can sample Christmas from a century ago at Washington-on-the-Brazos - Come share a traditional Christmas with the Jones family at Barrington Living Farm at their annual gathering of friends and neighbors. Enjoy a festive atmosphere with a sampling of 1850's music and dancing. Wassail and cookies will be served. The following day take in the Christmas Heritage Home tour in Chappell Hill.
